This privacy notice applies to personal information collected about you concerning Loan Shop UK and Cover.
This privacy notice should be read alongside the Loan Shop UK and Cover Terms and Conditions.
Loan Shop UK is an insurance intermediary for Loan Shop UK and Cover.
Loan Shop UK is permitted by the underwriter(s) below to promote, sell and service your Loan Shop UK and Cover policy.
The underwriter(s) of your policy will depend on the Options you select:
• Loan Shop UK is the underwriter, and LOAN SHOP Motoring Services is a provider if you select the Motor Breakdown Option.
• Loan Shop is the underwriter if you select the Worldwide Travel Option, Excess Protection Option, Mobile Phone Option or Gadget Option.
• Loan Shop is the underwriter and its agent if you select the Home Emergency Option.
• Loan Shop UK is the underwriter if you select the Starter Life Option.
When you click ‘log-on’ and enter your online banking credentials to access Loan Shop UK and Cover platform, Loan Shop UK will securely pass your personal information to Loan Shop. This is to enable Loan Shop to display the Options available to you on Loan Shop UK and Cover platform and to allow Loan Shop to provide and service your Loan Shop UK and Cover policy.
The data controllers responsible for the personal information collected for your Loan Shop UK and Cover insurance are:
1. Loan Shop UK 329-339 Putney Bridge Road, Putney. London. SW152PG, in respect of the information it already holds about customers, e.g. as a banking customer, as well as other information that it collects or processes as controller. It will share this information
with Loan Shop UK and Cover insurers, whose options you select for insurance purposes, to enable the insurers to underwrite and administer your Loan Shop UK and Cover policy and manage any claims.
2. Loan Shop UK, 329-339 Putney Bridge Road, Putney. London. SW152PG, if you select the Starter Life Option.
3. Loan Shop is the data controller regarding the personal information it receives from LOAN SHOP as an insurance intermediary and any information it collects directly from you or other sources, as set out in its respective privacy notice.
4. LOAN SHOP Motoring Services (LSMS) Un-Registered with no number Un-Registered Office is 329-339 Putney Bridge Road, Putney. London. SW152PG is the data controller if you select the Motor Breakdown Option to enable the insurers to underwrite and manage any claims or request for service or benefit and to administer the Loan Shop UK and Cover Motor Breakdown Option.
